Brandy and Monica’s new duet, “It All Belongs To Me,” reunited the ladies musically for the first time since their 1998 collaboration, “The Boy Is Mine.” Now they are set to keep building on their renewed relationship with a possible summer tour in the works.
In a radio interview with Hot 93.7’s Jenny Boom Boom, Monica revealed that she and Brandy are doing what they can to make the shows happen.
“We’re working on that now and trying to find different sponsors and people that will get us in the cities we feel like we should be in, so it’s not just as easy as saying it, but we’re actually putting forth the effort to try and make sure it happens.”
The tour would come at a perfect time for promotion as Brandy’s next album isdropping in May, while Monica’s New Life project will be available on April 10.
